Feds Feed Families

As you may know, to support the First Lady’s Summer of Service, OPM has announced to Federal agencies the “Warm Up to Giving Food Drive” initiative that will assist local food banks facing severe shortages of non-perishable goods. The drive encourages Federal employees to bring non-perishable food items to their offices for collection and delivery to a local food bank.

The Greater Kansas City Federal Executive Board is encouraging each of our member agencies to coordinate and promote a local food drive within their agencies. Below are materials and links that will help your agency coordinate a summer food drive.

Registration is open for the 2009 Executive Forum:
"Leadership Through Change"

This year’s Executive Forum, “Leadership Through Change” will be held August 12-14, 2009 at the beautiful Chateau on the Lake in Branson, MO. The planning committee has been working very hard to provide an outstanding conference for agency heads and their senior managers. The 2009 Executive Forum will provide an interactive leadership learning experience and an opportunity to network with senior government leaders from the Kansas City and St. Louis areas.
